Scotiabank, formerly The Bank of Nova Scotia, has begun an ad campaign patting itself on the back for having arranged free movie night at some multiplex somewhere. Apparently people would show up to buy tickets for some film and be surprised when the cashier rang up a $0.00 total.
I thought it rather appropriate that this blog be called Bread and Circuses, never having considered that the banks would oblige with so blatant pandering
